Today I found it has been more than 4 years that nothing is published in the blog.
There are a lot of developments and improvements all across the globe in the medical informatics, or in another term digital health. Now, Digital Health is one of the important goal in developed countries and subsequently, it is considered in the developing countries. Although Semantics and AI have been employed in the current digital health services, still one of the crucial issues is the slow pace of acceptance and usage of the information systems among the healthcare staff in almost all health care centres. The first wall of resistance is seen among the clinicians and nurses who should use the information system by entering the data and providing invaluable input to the pool of the Big Data. Ontologies like SNOMED-CT is still growing in the context and in the usage but still, the dissociation between the input and output make the applications less useful. That might be one of the reasons that mHealth is growing faster because the end-user would be the patients rather than healthcare staff. Sort effort to bypass the healthcare services to access the end-users from the digital health industry.
